Stuff. I feel like rambling.

I woke up an hour ago because I had to pee. When I was wandering over to the bathroom, I remembered my dream. The whole family up and moved to France. What the fuck is up with that?

I hate how when I have to get up for work, when the alarm goes off, I'm pretty much awake. I may hit the snooze a few times, but I know I have to get up, so I'm up. Yet this weekend, both mornings I woke up with a throbbing headache. It bothers me because I like getting up early but fuck, my head hurts.

I decided to stay up after the weird dream because I didn't want to sleep my Sunday away. We started cleaning last night and decided to rearrange some stuff today. We're taking out the desk from the bedroom and replacing the small one in the movie room with it. I had this idea a while back that we could keep the laptop in the bedroom for me to use and Warren could have the desktop in the movie room. So we got a desk and organized all our shelves of books and movies and games and it was great for about 3 months. Then the laptop was always mysteriously back in the movie room. I will have to say it's nice to sit here on our "sofa" (we are using two twin beds in an L shape - super comfy and cozy for loungy movie viewing) and type away. Okay, so it's my fault that the damn laptop is in here and the poor desk in the bedroom is never used. Now it's full of dust and pictures and a box full of books I ordered from Amazon last week. We have so much stuff. I always wonder where my paycheck goes - it goes to all our shit.

I also decided we need a new bed. I think the one we're using now, Warren has had for a while. It's a full size - which would be small for an average couple, but somehow we are fine on it. Except when I wake up and he's laying on top of me because he rolled all the way over. Trust me, it's not nice to wake up with someone breathing in your face and cutting off your circulation. Plus, we aren't using the frame. It looked nice for a while. I love the loungy look and absolutely hate the traditional bedroom stuff. I guess that's why our bedroom looks like a Blockbuster with pillows. So we're getting a Queen sized bed next time. I would loooooooooove a king, and we would have the room if I didn't instist on using a circa 1980 buffet/entertainment center to hold the 350 pound old school HD tv. Not to mention the Fuf. Imagine a gigantic and comfy beanbag chair that uses foam things. It's actually pretty cool, but it's so big. It holds both of us with no problem. Yet it sits in his reading corner taking up space. I want to get rid of it or move it or something. When I tell Warren this, he looks at me like I'm suggesting sacrificing puppies. *sigh* I guess I will live with it. At least now I can move it to where the desk was.

Im actually pretty hungry right now. I guess I should go make oatmeal. Or eggs. I have to eat breakfast or my whole day is off and this getting healthy thing completely vacates my mind.

Im running out of things to say... I must be pretty much awake now. Hehe.

I finally went to see Twilight. Thank god it wasn't as painful as I thought it would be. I went with a friend of the family - her name is Diane. Well, she's really a friend of Warren's Mom, but she loves romance movies. So anyway, we almost got into a fight with this rude woman who wanted us and 3 other people to all move down like 3 seats so her family could sit in the back row. I told her to go sit down where all the OPEN seats were. I mean seriously. The movie was already starting. It was dark. Get here early like everyone in the entire theater did. What a bitch. Anyway, I loved parts of the movie, and others were just plain awkward. The direction was awful. I'm glad she's not doing the next movie.

It's fucking cold out. I want summer. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I miss the super dry, fry an egg on my car at 7am kind of heat. I guess I am completely turned over to the dark side now...

I think that last night during all the election coverage, it was the first time I was actually proud to be an American. We are shit on for everything. We have a horrible leader elected by ignorant fucks, bad foreign policy, this stupid war, the economy is down the drain, blah blah blah. This time around, I actually wanted to participate. I wanted my vote to count, and I actually paid attention during debates, I read about the candidates stands on issues and fought back tears of joy when Barack Obama was called as President Elect. This is by far the coolest thing I have ever witnessed.

Stupid fuckers.

I was all excited about the final Twilight series book, but after reading reviews - omg I think I am going to throw something. I'm not even sure I want to spend $13 to find out what happens. I guess I wasn't expecting a miracle, because Stephenie Meyer is most definitely not the world's greatest author, but if the things I just read about are true - she's a sell out thinking about cold, hard cash.

In other news, the a/c went out Thursday. It was not fun sleeping in a house that was about 100 degrees. I was happy to go to work.

I am also employee of the month. Woo! My boss said it's rigged because he's nominated me every month for the two years I've been there, and this is the first time I won. So on my days off, we're heading to the buffet to use my comps. Yum yum.

We're in the middle of a Lost marathon. And we're taking notes. Seriously, that shit is complex.
